I’m an avid and adventurous hiker especially in the Grose & Megalong valley and this helps me discover interesting spots in the stunning Eucalyptus adorned region as a Blue Mountains Wedding Photographer.
Engagement Photos Blue Mountains
I was looking to create a high contrast image with Neil standing in the shade and Viv in the sun, but having both of them illuminated by the beautiful autumn sun
Running photos are always my favourite. To warm my couples up to shoots, I aways get them to run over 30m towards the camera. This helps them shake off their nervousness, gets their adrenaline pumping and you’ve also broken that invisible shield of ice between them, the camera and you!
Viv being Viv worked her maternal and compassionate instincts and packed snacks for the day. I made sure there was no shortage of good Hunter wine to wash it down. Also notice how happy these after a few wines. Wine – the guaranteed solution to elegantly do away with any nerves prior to a photoshoot
We were blessed with the stunning autumn arvo sun and I leapt upon the opportunity to make as many images as we could with the sun as a beautiful backlight
The best shots are made in those 2 seconds either side of the “perfect” pose.
Colour or B&W? That is always the question
Viv’s outfit was inspired by from Kajol’s in DDLJ. Simple, elegant and very classy. She did her hair and makeup herself as well.
Are these guys in love or what? This still ranks as my favourite pre-wedding shoot. I mean just look at these two
So glad I had my drone on me
The last 4 photos are probably my favourite from the shoot in terms of the art we created. This shoot ranks amongst my top 3 favourite shoots primarily because of the joy the three of us shared on a day out in our stunning mountains.
