Rom has an infectious laugh and that set the tone for our interaction over the 12 months in between the time of their booking to our post wedding dinner catchup. She laughed so much at their pre-wedding shoot, she nearly fell over the cliff and had my lighting assistant terrified.

Teddy is just huggable. Always. His warm demeanour, quiet smile draws Rom and me to him. Yup we fight for hugs.

This was take 5. We worked up from 20% of the party smiling to 100% in this frame. Sharni was the last 10% that had to be fixed.

Boys. Playstation, enough said.

Rom and Teddy’s first look is one for the ages. You’ll see that in their highlights video too. The raw emotions, the intensity of it. The laughter, the tears, the joyous hugs and the near tackle that had Rom almost on the floor. My favourite first look of all time.

There’s emotions always all around outside of the main event.

Rom just couldn’t keep a straight face. As always.

Teddy teared up. So did I.
